Day 4

Wow what a hot day from start to finish. We hit Joplin Harley, then headed to Route 66 Harley Davidson.

Then our goal was to get to Clinton, OK. It was a hot windy ride, the cross winds were strong. We went different sights on this leg of the trip. From flat lands to rolling hills to deep red soil, deep red ponds with cow cooling off  in them, it was very cool to see..... another photo option come and gone.... its hard because you want to stop and take a picture but, traveling 80 MPH it wouldn't even be safe to stop. But, it will forever be in my memory.

I did hook up my go pro to my headlight, I did get some cool and candid shots

Joe at a stop light.... whoops..... he forgot to put in his ear plugs.

I must say the tolls in Oklahoma are a bit strange.... you pay upfront, then if you get off you hand them the receipts and the give you the change.

Tomorrow we want to go to the Route 66 museum , then take a short drive to Amarillo  and hang there for the night...

We've been pounding it hard we need to chill a bit tomorrow so we don't burn out.

  1. I met that type of toll road in OH, glad I kept my receipt. Ride safe and relax and smell the flowers!
