November.....2012

Last night we decided on a date to leave for our Route 66 adventure....  June 16th 2013.... we will be heading out on a adventure of a lifetime....   So far it's just Mike and I.... but then a lot can happen in a few months.....  It's getting cooler out now.... the bikes are in the garage.... stable in the gas tank.... under blankets..... there to rest till spring..... (though.... I think we will take them out tomorrow before Thanksgiving Dinner....)    

I don't think we are going to go all the way to LA, but are going to make it to Flagstaff, AZ and call that home base for a little while..... I would like to to into Utah to tour that a little and I need to go to Page, Az to go to Antelope Canyon

I will also be going to Horseshoe Bend

Route 66 itself is disappearing day by day..... more of it is gone year after year, so following it will not be that easy....  We will have to choose sites that we want to see in each state.....I believe there will be a lot of compromising on both parts...

We do have all winter to read.... research and decide. 

Actually this will help winter to pass faster.....
